We stayed for 3 nights celebrating our anniversary. The staff was excellent - they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and comfortable as foreign speaking guests. Private onsen was beautiful overlooking the water. The larger onsens had times that weren't reserved that left us able to go multiple times. The is a spa in building, a champagne afternoon time and a late-night bar and ramen every night. There are extras like doctor fish, karaoke rooms with free drinks, etc. Meals are well portioned and delicious. Dinner is an 8-course meal (not including dessert) with fresh, local ingredients. This stay was perfect, comfortable and an easy 20 minute walk or 6 minute taxi drive to Ito station. Only 1 hour from Tokyo station. We loved our time (the staff definitely elevate this hotel and make it so much better) and will be staying when we return.
